Always liked sunsets! Of course it is at a beach, cannot avoid my like for them. It was so much fun to work with really bold colors. It is fun to work in round shapes, and then frame it. I like it!

This was a commission for a friend. She wanted a heart with flowers, so I made contact with my daughter Anne-Marie and she made this design perfect for what she wanted. It was so much fun to build up the heart with different materials. The leaves and the flowers were felted. The background has some insinuated butterflies. My son Miguel made the stretcher and covered with canvas, it came out good. A lot of work, but worthwhile! It was really three pairs of hands in it!
Another beach, another story. This beach just appeared by itself. It was fun to imagine the water coming down the stones, getting into the sea. Love to do felting, it feels like painting in watercolors!
It was a long time since I made wove in a hoop. It is fun, and sometimes unpredictable, depending on the materials you use. The colors were there in my bag after a commission I made recently. So there it is!
Love to hook in circles, it is an interesting form. I imagined here a city, a big one, with all the lights on. No cars, no people on the streets. The pandemia is on!
Hand dyed wool fabric, wool yarns, vegetal fiber and hand dyed wool roving
12″ x 18″
Mounted on a wood stick
This tapestry was woven specially for my granddaughter Zoe, who wanted a scene from Sweden. It was so nice to imagine a summer house the, they call it “pa landet”, it means in the house for vacation. By the lake of course, so you can fish and walk. As you can see it has the Swedish flag outside the house that is red, of course, and the birch trees are on the side.! I really enjoyed a lot making it!

This was my Christmas card this year. It represents my immediate family: children and grandchildren. I started hooking the tree with different kinds of materials. Then I felted the ground and the star. With polymer clay I made the ornaments, different colors for each family. So the red, represents Anne-Marie’s family, the blue Maria Teresa’s, the purple Mattias’s and the yellow Miguel’s, I am the orange of course! The animation of the card was made by Miguel and Enrique. I had so much fun thinking it over and making it! Merry Christmas – Feliz Navidad – God Jul

This piece was inspired by a painting of Hilma af Klint, born in Sweden (1862-1944). I liked the idea as she was Swedish, as me, so we have in common something. I loved to make this piece, it has a meaning…..dreams! We all have them!
