Working in needle felting is like painting with watercolors, you put layers on top of the others and you get the difference n the colors. It is so much fun!

I won at the Spring Exhibition 2026 of Arts and Cultural Council of Bucks County

the Award is Sculpture and also the Award of Peoples Choice, and I sold my piece as well, that was a good surprise!

Playing around with the watercolors and inks, remembering wonderful moments we had walking around in Rome. Difficult to bring back all the good memories we spent there, las Tres Marias, Mary Carmen, Maria and me!

This piece was made in needle felting with hand dyed wool roving. It was very much fun to do the felting of all the colors of the sardines and the tomato sauce. The frame was made by my son Miguel. It is wood painted and the roll with the key are in metal. It was a perfect match! It is 8″ x 12″
