Designed and felted by Gun-Marie Nalsen 2022
Needle felting
Hand dyed wool roving and wool yarn on wool fabric
Framed
8″ x 10″
I love to make beaches, with sunsets specially. The felting goes so
smoothly! This piece is going also to the Fall Salon Members Show
of the Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County, at the Freeman Hall
in Doylestown, PA. The dates are: September 10 to October 2, 2022.
Designed and hooked by Gun-Marie Nalsen 2022
Rug hooking
Hand dyed wool strips, hand dyed wool yarn and hand dyed sari silk on linen
Framed
9″ x 11″
I enjoyed very much hooking without a pattern really! But the moon shone so
I went dancing in the colors! This piece is going to be in the Fall Salon Members
Show at the Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County, at the Freeman Hall in
Doylestown, PA, September 10 to October 2, 2022. Hope you can see it!
Many drawings, painted with watercolors mostly. Not wonderful, but I have enjoyed each one!

Needle felting and watercolors
Hand dyed wool roving on wool fabric
Painted with watercolors
Framed
3.5″ x 5″ and 5″ x 7″
I like to paint a lot, and love to make things in fiber, so I decided to make my work
in different media, it is very interesting, there you can see it another way!

Acrylic painting
Acrylics colors , acrylics inks and markers
Canvas
9″ x 12″
It was so much fun just to start with the green color and then do some doodling around
to see what was going to happen. Later on I treated it with inks and markers, and voila,
this is it! I think I never made a painting like this, it was really delicious!

Tapestries
Hand dyed wool yarn and hand dyed wool roving on a cotton warp
Mounted on painted canvas
4″ x 4″ x 1.5″
Small tapestries take as much time as a bigger one. Choosing colors
and see what it becomes is a mystery for me. It is wonderful to
play. I added some details in roving. I think that the little square canvas
have a nice size. Hope you like it!

Needle felting, weaving, painting and gold leafing
Hand dyed wool roving
Cotton warp and linen yarn as weft
Painting with acrylics
Gold leaf on the sky
Framed
13″ x 18″
This was an interesting project that was commissioned to me by a good
friend. I loved using different types of medias. I wove the base in a linen
that I had, and made the hearts in different tones in roving, painted with acrylics
the sea and sand and finally applied the gold leaf, which was a bit tricky, but it came
out good I think. It has a nice story behind. It was fun to make it Thank you Beatriz!
