caracas y su cerro el avila

Desisgned and felted by Gun-Marie Nalsen 2020

Needle felting

Hand dyed wool roving and wool fabric on wool fabric

Framed

10″ x 10″

Caracas, our beautiful city! How I miss our big mountain el Avila, that guards the city, always there for us! Caracas lays in a narrow valley surrounded by mountains, a beautiful city, now very deteriorated by the political situation.

This piece is going to our exhibition in Madrid, Spain next May! Stay tunned!
