This is a piece that has been “sleeping” for a while. I decided to finish it. The wiping is the thing I am not so keen in, but I did it! The result is beautiful, I love it! It is Anne-Marie, my daughters design, she is so good! Tropical, definitely!

This was my first experience to hook with yarn, and achieved some of the Pointillism. It is a quite different experience to hook with yarn than with wool fabric. The effect is completely different! I liked it! The only place that I used another material was on the sun, I though the effect of the cheese cloth is good! Thanks you Karen Miller for teaching me this!

My beloved mountain in Caracas, El Avila, Waraira Repano, the indigenous name, that gives its majestic look to our capital. You always know where the North is….where the Avila is! I really miss its looks! I have done several, and all are different, but it is the same Avila!

This was a very special experience. I saw a picture of some mushrooms in strange colors, and it occurred to me I could something similar. I think it came out good. My son told me that they looked as those spsychedelic mushrooms, so that is why the name. Love them!
