When I start to weave in my small tapestry loom, I don’t know what is going to happen. I choose the colors I want to use and go. My hands are the ones that move the wool. The red strip of wool roving gives it more character. I like the result. It is a bit square, but it came out like that! I am happy with it.

I found this little frame and immediately saw it as a window. Started to make the beach and voila!
You can almost smell the air, and feel the breeze! So much fun to play with colors!

The idea of making a multicolored turtle came when Teresa Nieberding asked me to make an animal for her show “ON THE WILD SIDE”, that is going to be in September, 2021, in Cincinnati, OH. It was so much fun to design it and think in colors. I hope that she likes it!
