I made this in a Donna Hrkman class at the Weavers Guild. I used a painting that my daughter Maria Teresa made from a picture of me when I was one year old. It was a difficult task, but I think that I recreated well the scene. The name EL MORROCOY, means the turtle, that is the title that she gave to the piece. I am pleased with it!

This piece was made in a tapestry loom that was given to me, an experiment. I am pleased because it is “airy” and has a lot of colors as the tropics!
